Appointment and client policies.

Booking

Online booking submits an appointment request for the selected client, service, date, and time. A valid card is required for the request, no payment is collected online, and Skin by Laine confirms the appointment manually.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged 50% of the booked service price using the card saved at booking.

Late Arrival

Please arrive on time so your service can begin calmly and without rushing. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may shorten the service time, and arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled.

Cards and Payments

No deposit is required. A card is required with an appointment request, and clients pay after the appointment. The card saved with the request may be used only according to the cancellation and no-show policy after the appointment is confirmed.

Refunds

Completed services are nonrefundable. If you have a concern after your appointment, please contact Skin by Laine within 48 hours so your skin response and aftercare can be reviewed.

Skin and Health Disclosure

Clients are responsible for sharing current products, prescriptions, allergies, sensitivities, medical changes, recent injections, recent peels, waxing, sun exposure, and any active irritation before treatment. Services may be adjusted or postponed when treatment is not appropriate for the skin that day.

Before Your Appointment

Please arrive with clean skin when possible and avoid new active products, exfoliation, or heavy sun exposure right before your appointment. If you are unsure whether something may affect your service, send a message before your visit.

Results and Sensitivity

Skin care results vary by person, routine, products, lifestyle, and consistency. Temporary redness, sensitivity, or flushing can happen after a facial, especially for reactive skin. No specific outcome is guaranteed.

Minors

Clients under 18 must have parent or guardian consent. A parent or guardian may be required to remain present during the appointment.

Respectful Studio

Skin by Laine is a gentle, welcoming space for every skin type. Respectful communication is expected, and services may be refused or ended if behavior is unsafe, inappropriate, or disrespectful.

Privacy

Client contact details, appointment notes, and intake information are used for scheduling, service preparation, client communication, and business records. Personal information is not sold or shared for marketing outside Skin by Laine.
